You can purchase a disc refinisher\refinishing kit and use that to remove the mark\scratch. What this thing does is it removes a layer of the plastic from the disc; which will hopefully remove the mark\scratch. This usually only works well with original discs, since the data on an original disc is stored on the thin layer of metal that's under the plastic of a disc. Recordable discs "burn" the data into the plastic itself, but that's an entirely different topic itself.
