There is something wrong whith my game moden war fare 2 and there is a quite a big mark on and when i put it in it say`s 1. clean disk whith a soft cloth and i did that 2.then it say`srestart consol and i done that then when i put it in then it keep`s on doing it

If there are multiple disks, you need to put the "game" disc. If you have the "game" disc in the disc tray, you need to uninstall the game then reinstall the game.

this might be able to sort the disk error, its not a perminant fix but may fix the problem.. follow the links inside..

clean the disk and clean the lens.... to clean the lens, get a lens cleaner disk from almost any electronic store... or just get a q-tip with alittle alcahol and lightly rub the lens..

It honestly sounds like its the disc and not the drive. Try cleaning your disc in warm soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth. If that dosen't help try it in someone elses system.If it does the same thing in theirs then take it to a Blockbuster Video or a Gamestop and see if they will put it in their machine and resurface it. I think they charge a couple of bucks to do it.

that probably means that the disk is bad because that happens to me to alot with guitar hero or that u will need to put something on top of the ps2 were u put the disk in so that will keep it straite if that doesnt work then its the laser or the hard drive

you could buy a new game, but it,s worth trying this disk repair solution first. i,ve been repairing game-music cds/dvds for a couple of years, with 80% sucessful results.
1:) Find an empty jewel Case ( plastic cd holder case ) put the game-disk into the case upside down. ** Underside Facing Up**
2:) Take a soft-cloth ** Yellow Duster Type** and apply a small amount Of T-Cut Or Toothpaste. to the cloth.
3:) holding the disk with one hand, to stop it moving. use your other hand to work the cutting paste into the disk, around the scratched area. using light to medium pressure.
4:) once you,ve polished the area around the scratch, using a clean piece of soft cloth, buff to a polish.
5:) once the scratch has been removed, polish with a light solution of furniture polish, to fill in any surface inperfections.

if the back of the disk is blue and u have 1 of theold ps2s it not going 2work that well becuase the old 1s stop read the blue disk first

Try rubbing toothpaste in both sides of the disk and then wash it off and wipe it down with soft cloth.
