My ps3 turns on everything works fine the home screen appears but when i put a game into play it the little disc in the top right corner of the TV appears like its trying to read the disc but nothing ever pops up to play the game anymore it used to automatically start now it does nothing no game start-up and no icon pops up to click and play what is going on????
Your blue ray player is broken you have to send it back to sony if you have warrenty its free but if you dont its $150

I have the same problem, it's error 80010514. An error occurred during start up operation. That's what you would see on your screen if the disc would even get read. Your ps3 is screwed. Call 1-800-345-sony and talk to them. They will tell you that you need to send it in and if your 1 year warranty is up you have to pay $150. I'm waiting for them to send the coffin to send my ps3 back in

Umm well thats wat mine was doing and i called up ps3 austrailia and they said that you can call up a reiper man or send it to us and i got the email and adress of them and they fully replaced it for free but uv got to tell them you got it at christmas because they fked up wen they wer making them around christmas sumpin to do with the hard drive but soz i dunno the ps3 aus number u should ask but i got mine replaced instead of paying a repair man bout 200$ i just replaced it for free =P
