Need a firmware for sansa e280 - SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player

Hello,
On Windows 7 a firmware update should be available with Sansa Firmware Updater, see next site and follow up the instructions in METHOD 1:

In METHOD 2 for having a firmware update manually is explained, when going to Sansa Forums.

Go to the Sansa website below, do a search for e280 firmware. You will find the firmware (what was on your CD) there, download it to your computer. It will show e200 firmware...this also applies to the e280. I hope this helps, Good luck Please rate me, Thanks

try formatting it and reinstalling the firmware if u need the driver i think u can download it from here http://www.drivers.mrjuan.com/driver-5950-sansa-e280.html

where did you get it and do you have a warrenty?

You don't need new firmware or a new driver. You need to download the Sansa Media Converter from Sandisk's website.

I believe if you upload rockbox http://www.rockbox.org/ to your sansa it will fix this.

You have a version 2 player. If you look at the back of your player in the bottom right hand corner, you will see v2 in tiny letters after the e280. When the v2 players first came out, they didn't have the USB option. About 2 weeks ago Sandisk came out with a firmware update 3.01.14, which returns the USB option. Go to:  http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx  download the sansa firmware updater, follow the instructions and it will upgrade your firmware to get your USB option.

Try udpating the firmware of you player in recovery mode if you have a latest version firmware use this one. Use the downgrade file.
