On my acer 5720 i keep having a windows boot manager come up wit a status of0xc00000e9 how do i get rid of this

1. Restart the Acer Aspire netbook by pressing the "power" button on the netbook's keyboard or by pressing the "CTRL," "ALT" and "DEL" keys at the same time.
2. During startup, hold down the "F8" function key immediately when you see the "Acer" splash screen and the option for entering "Setup."

3. Keep pressing the "F8" key until the "Advanced Boot Options" menu appears.
If you receive a "keyboard error," restart the Acer Aspire and repeat step 2.

4. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Safe Mode" selection on the "Advanced Boot Options" menu.
The arrow keys are located on the right-hand side of the Acer Aspire keyboard.

5. Press the "Enter" key to execute the "Safe Mode" selection.
The Windows operating system will now start in "Safe Mode" and you can perform a system restore or make needed changes to get your Acer Aspire to boot normally again.

you just start your pc when it shows startup sreen press f8 and enter to safe mode in safe use the acer erecovery management software to recover your pc.

no, xp cannot create the start-up disk. it can only be created on the same machine and in the same os as it is intended to repair.

boot the computer with the xp cd in it. while it is booting up, press F11 or F12 which allows you to choose the boot option. Once you're able to choose that, choose CD-ROM, that will enable you to boot from the CD and you need to do a clean format.

Insert a windows boot disc. Go into the bios select it to boot from CD-ROM first. Then you can go from there. If you get it to boot to windows disc, then you could start reinstalling windows.
