Big arc in picture - Zenith IQB50M90W 50" Rear Projection Television

the high voltage runs the picture tubes. you have a bad high voltage transformer (large signal board) or something wrong with the anode wires (big red ones) or could be a bad tube. this has 30,000 volts so be careful or call a Pro.

Replace both of your STK ICs STK392-110s Mats has them 1-800-628-1118 They are big blk IC with part number on them.

The flyback should be replaced your model uses the 270125 flyback. Its a easy repair. You can get the replacement 270125 flyback from www.tvrepairworld.com and they send a Cd with detailed instructions on how to do the replacement.

you have cold solder conections if you know how to solder you can fix it with a good light

This problem is commonly refered to as a CONVERGENCE problem. Question 1 do you have convergence seting in setup menu...if you do NOT it could be a special small fuse. 2 if you go into setup then convergence. then can you move crosshairs in setup. Since you have a arcing picture this indicates convergence power supply problems....in which has to be replaced or repaired,
