I have a canon slr camera and I'm trying to download pictures to my HP PC the message says I'm missing software drivers?

Maybe the your HP pc doesn't recognize your slr camera. download a software or driver for it on the web site of the canon.

Go out and buy a card reader. Once you use one, you'll never download any other way again. This one is only $13 at Walmart.

My EOS 300d is not recognized by computer

have you tried to change the USB cable, or USB plug?

if did not work, try uninstalling the drivers & reinstaling them again (also update the firmware of you camera)

Will a quantaray 28-105 1:3.8-5.4 Zoom lens Autofocus from a 35mm rebel ti fit on Canon EOS Digital Rebel 6.3 MP 300D?

The 35mm Rebel Ti and the Rebel 300D use the same lens mounting protocol. All Canon cameras designated 'EOS' use the autofocus EF lenses. If your Quantaray lens worked on the Rebel Ti, it will fit and should work on the Rebel 300D.
