It is possible to do. You will need a kill switch for the power wire running from your battery to the amp. Also, you will need a high level to low level converter for the audio in signal to the amp. This taps into existing speaker wires and converts it into rca signals to connect to your amp. Its alot more work than taking apart the dash in my opinion.

Can i use a 300 watt amp for 2, 800 watt woofers

yes, but you would not get the same performance as you would if you gave them the suggested power. I have found that it is always better to use a more powerful amp than your subs are rated for (as long as it is clean, high quality, low distortion power). I have had the best luck with name brand amps (kicker, rockford fosgate, phoenix gold,etc...). I hope this will be helpful to you.

1995 Honda Civic. a new fuel pump, plugs, plug wires, dist cap and buttom. car will npot start. wonder about a relay under dash. wher is it and what does it look like.

The main relay is located usually on a civic in the upper left hand corner of the dash . sometimes you can see it if you remove the coin tray.look directly to the left. on a left hand drive USA car. its usually brown in color with matsuba written on it a box, but may be black in color. about 2 inches by 4 inches by 1 inch tall and has a metal bracket attached to it.It has a 8 pin connector and usually only has six wires coming out of it, If your car has cruise control remove the cruise box and Honda hid it behind there, which is directly left of the steering column in the kick panel . and sometimes they put it all the way above the steering column.

I have the MRP-M1000 amp. I want to hook up 2 alpine subs to this amp. Which alpine subs would be the best for this amp? Please be specific with ohms and watts.

Your best bet will be to wire 2 subs in parallel to the amp. Each sub should be rated for at least 300 watts rms at 4 ohms. This will give you a total impedance of 2 ohms, and your amp will put out 600 watts rms at that impedance. That way, each sub will receive 300 wats rms. I would not recommend wiring subs in parallel, as you will need two 1 ohm subs at 300 watts rms, which are harder to find and will be more expensive. A parallel circuit is the most efficient way to do it.

PIONEER 300 WATT CAR STEREO AMP WIREING HOW TOO

depending on how many channels the amp is, you may not be able to hook everything up to it.

usually you have a separate amp for subs. 4 channel amp for the speakers in the car, and a mono amp for the subs.

To hook them all up to the same amp you would need an amp with 5 channels. It wouldn't work out right.

If you have a mono amp its only for subs.

If you have a 2 channel you can either hook it up to the rear speakers or bridge them to mono to run the subs.

you need a channel per speaker basically.

It'll be appreaciated if anybody knows how to reset maintenance minder for 09' Honda Civic.

It may not be the same for a Civic, but for a 09 Accord:
1. Turn ignition to ON (II) position
2. Press select/reset (odometer) knob until engine oil life indicator displayed
3. Press knob about 10 sec, until oil life & maint code items blink
4. Press knob another 5 secs, until code disappears & engine oil life resets to 100%

If this isn't right for you, the procedure should be indicated in your manual.

Hope this helps.

Hi i have two 10'' jenson xs sub and they are about 6 years old and i was wondering wut amp size i should buy to run them.

I believe these are 4ohms, if so buy a 2ohm stable monoblock amp, that puts out 250-300 watts RMS, and connect your subs to it in parallel, don't pay attention to peak watts, look at RMS watts, or continuous watts. If they're 2 ohms, buy a 2 ohm stable 2 channel amp that puts out 125-150 watts RMS per channel, and 250-300 watts total or bridged RMS output. And connect them normally, on sub per channel... hope this helps, as far as brand recommendations, MTX, pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood... Good luck

Connecting code scanner to 2007 chry 300 & 95 dodge 1/2 ton ram

Most obd2 connection ports are under the driver side dash and can be visible without removing any panels. On some chrysler Daimler vehicles you do have to remove a panel to access this service port. If its not located under the dash then it will be located under the hood on the driver side and be capped off and labeled obd2 scan tool service. Simply plug your wire in with the key on and the engine not running and read the codes from your vehicles on board computer/ecm/bcm. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Speakers

Hi Trim God,

I do not reccommend that you push the Pioneer speakers over 100 watts.  The jenson will already drown the car with bass through your pioneers so much you will want to turn off the bass boost when playing some low bass hip hop songs. It changes from one venue of song to another, so I just keep the jenson bass boost off and use my head unit to adjsut the sound to fit my listening prefences. I am telling you man, you will be blown away .  Hook up the pioneers straight to the Channels,. do not bridge.  I put Subs in my truck though.  I used the Pass output to send the audio to me Jenson 2 Channel 600W amp. I drive one 10 inch enclosed JBL Class A/B Sub. I bridged the output of the 600 W amp to the 10 inch sub  in my Z28.  The pioneers never get drowned out.  I did smoke my 2 channel Amp one time. and also took out a MTD 10inch sub. I am talk shooting flames and smoked the whole car up. I think if you bride the XA4150 to the pioneers, you will have the flaming smoke problem in no time.

Pioneer amp and sub problems

That's a 4-channel amp, not a 2-channel, which makes me wonder exactly how you have it hooked up to your sub. Is the LED light on the amp coming on? How many subs do you have hooked up to it, and how is it wired?
