No sound is out of my latitude d600 even tough everything is installed correctly

Hi

If you are sure everything is installed correctly and the volumeis not mutes

I would recommned that you hook up a pair of external speakers to rule out hardware fault

My dell latitude d600 onboard bluethoot just doesn't work, don't even know how to start it up.

go to control panel, classic view, bluetooth. self explanitary from there, unless ur dell is like mine and doesnt have the hardware installed!! so youve just got a light that wont do anything

right click on volume in right hand toolbar and open volume control then click options and then properties tick all boxes scroll along to mic and turn slider up should fix.

Sound doesn't work on Latitude D600. Master Mute keeps flashing on screen and the sound turns off

you have to install the sound driver, go to dell webpage, look for download drivers, choose your laptop serial and ur opertating system and download the Audio driver, then install it on ur laptop and everything will be fine.

sometimes audio drivers can become corrupt. try downloading ( unless you have cd ) drivers and re-installing them

Just re installed windows xp on new hard drive, built-in speakers no longer functioning

Visit support.dell.com, click on drivers and downloads, and then click on the service tag option.... enter the service tag from the bottom side of the laptop... it will then display the list of drivers for that laptop.

 

Download and install the audio drivers and any other ones that you need.... let me know if that solves it for you. Make sure they are for your laptop model and operating system.
