I have a lenoxx 500 dvd/surround sound am im trying to 'tune' it into a universal remote control however i dont have the code, can anyone help me? thanks

A universal Remote from a company such as Logitech, Tandy or Radioshack.

If your surround sound receiver unit has rca audio inputs(red/white), you can hook up any brand of DVD player that has rca outputs. You would hook the yellow output from DVD player to yellow input on TV. Hook red/white output from DVD player to red/white input on surround receiver. Hope this helps.

I have the same system and one of my dogs got to the remote. I have a philips PMDVR8/PDVR8 universal remote. I was able to get the dav-hdx265 to turn on/off and do volume up and down by using code 0200. I have not been able to get the DVD functionality to work yet, but I will post if I do.

I can not find codes for my tv.

I just tried the solution suggested by jcallahan on my Motorola DRC800 remote for my Cyberhome CH-DVD 300. The code that worked was 1023.
