To connect the Xbox to the Internet you can either use a wireless or Ethernet connection. The Ethernet is the most common method and is simpler. Connect a Ethernet cable to the xBox and connect the other end to a modem from you ISP (Internet Service Provider) such as AT&T or Comcast. In the Xbox, configure the Network by setting up the connection - follow the Xbox instructions on how to enable the network connection.

Ok Well, The Connection Interrupted, can be caused by some other player, or as i should say the host, the host of the match is probably lacking of internet connection, wich is mainly causing the problem for the ConnectIon Interrupted. -Sinan

Xbox 360 Connection Tests: IP Address
This test verifies that your Xbox 360™ console has a valid IP (Internet Protocol) address.
If your console does not pass this test:

Confirm that there are no other devices on your network with the same IP address.

If you are using a router or gateway, verify that it is configured to assign IP addresses to network devices (DHCP-enabled).

If you are connected to a router, make sure that your console'sEthernet cable is not connected to the router's LAN port rather thanits WAN port.

If you are connected directly to a modem and your ISP (Internetservice provider) requires PPPoE settings, verify that your PPPoE username and password are correct. If your ISP doesn't require PPPoEsettings, remove the PPPoE user name and password settings.

If you are connecting directly to a modem and have replaced a devicethat was connected to your modem with your Xbox 360 console or anotherdevice, turn the modem off and back on before connecting the newdevice.

If you are using a static IP address from your ISP, verify the address with a your provider.

If your console is connected to an ad-hoc network (in which devicesare connected directly to each other), it will probably not pass thistest. If your IP address is assigned automatically and your ad-hocnetwork does not include a DHCP server, this does not indicate aproblem. The test is properly reporting that a DHCP server could not becontacted. Xbox Customer Support does not support the use of ad-hocnetworking to connect to Xbox Live.

If you're using an ad-hocnetwork without a DHCP server and you can't connect to Xbox Live, checka different diagnostic test for the root of your problem.

I would strongly suggest to call Xbox techsupport for help. They will tell you what are the things taht you may try...its for free!!

I would greatly suggest to call Xbox live Techsupport. They will help you regarding connectivity issue and its for free!!!

you can find your I.P adress on the PC you use at home that is connected to the wireless modem.

if not theres an option on the xbox 360 to find the I.P automaticly try that!

If you are connecting to Xbox Live by using a modem that is connected directly into your broadband socket, your IP address settings are obtained from your ISP. Set your IP address in Network Settings to Automatic. 2. If you use a static IP address that you obtained from your ISP, you must manually enter this address in the Dashboard. Contact your ISP for their static IP address if you do not know it. If the IP is not static, continue with the rest of the troubleshooting. 3. Power cycle the modem. 4. If your ISP requires PPPoE settings, verify that you have entered them correctly. 5. If your ISP does not use PPPoE authentication, do not use these fields in the Dashboard. Shared connection with a modem and a router loadTOCNode(3, 'whattotry'); 1. Power cycle both the modem and the router. 2. Try connecting the Xbox 360 console to Xbox Live by using the modem only. This eliminates any configuration problems on the router. • If this setup works without the router, there is a configuration issue with the router. Verify that you can browse the Internet. If you cannot browse the Internet, Internet Connection Sharing is not configured correctly. 2. Power cycle the modem. If the modem does not have an on and off switch, unplug the modem from the power outlet. You cannot follow this step if you are using a USB modem. Instead, go to the next step. You must follow this step if you are switching the modem between the Xbox 360 console and a computer. 3. On the computer, click Start, click Run, type ncpa.cpl, and then click OK. 4. On the View menu, click Tiles. 5. If the connection is listed as Firewalled, the firewall may have to be configured. See your firewall documentation. 6.
