It sounds like there is an issue with the ignition system of your Bosch gas range. The fact that the display is fine, and no error codes are being displayed, suggests that the problem is with the ignition system itself.
The first thing to check is the ignition switch, it could be faulty and not sending power to the ignition system.
Check the wiring, it could be loose or corroded preventing power to reach the ignition system.
The next thing to check would be the spark module, which controls the spark that lights the gas. If the spark module is malfunctioning, it will not send a spark to the ignition system.
Lastly, the oven and broiler igniters may be faulty and need to be replaced.
It's important to note that working with gas appliances can be dangerous, if you're not comfortable troubleshooting, it's best to contact a professional for repairs or contact Bosch customer service for further assistance. Request for a senior technician or supervisor to take a look at it and provide a resolution.

The E08 error code is a oven not heating error. You will want to check the following. 1. Disconnect power. Open the back cover. Disconnect the two harness connectors to the oven temperature sensor. Measure sensor resistance :1080O at the room temperature ? If different value, replace oven sensor. 2. Check the broil, bake and convection heater. Check the resistance of each. 3. Check whether DLB of sub PCB, Broil, Bake and Convection heater relay are being activated 4. Check wiring harnesses between main PCB. 5. Check the resistance of oven sensor connector on main PCB. (Normal : 1080O)
does it not bake or broil? if this is the case, it could be the control panel. however if one or the other of the bake and broil functions work then it would most likely be an ignitor. check to see if your broil and bake ignitors glow. to access the bake ignitor you must remove the bottom panel from the oven but you can probaly see it gowing without removing the panel. the broil ignitor should be in plain sight.
Find the bake ignitor (you may need to remove bottom drawer or oven cavity floor to get to the ignitor). Turn on the bake. If the bake ignitor comes on (starts glowing after a few seconds) - check the amperage on the bake ignitor wires when it's on. Should be 3 - 3.6A. If less than 3A - replace ignitor. If the ignitor does not come on - check the voltage on the ignitor, should be the line voltage 110-120v AC. If there is a line voltage on the ignitor and it's not coming on - replace. Part number is 74008064.
The igniter in the oven does not spark. It heats up and glows red hot until enough current opens the safety gas valve to the burner. It is not associated with the stovetop burners. Replace the oven igniter itself.
Find the bake ignitor (you may need to remove bottom drawer or oven cavity floor to get to the ignitor). Turn on the bake. If the bake ignitor comes on (starts glowing after a few seconds) - check the amperage on the bake ignitor wires when it's on. If the ignitor is a round style - amperage should be 2.5-3A, if the ignitor is rectangular - 3 - 3.6A. If less than 2.5A or 3A respectively - replace ignitor. If the ignitor does not come on - check the voltage on the ignitor, should be the line voltage 110-120v AC. If there is a line voltage on the ignitor and it's not coming on - replace. Ignitor part numbers for round style ones: 4342528, WB2X9154, SGR403, 5304401265; rectangular styles: 12400035, WB13K21, WB2X9998, SGR412, NR020, 5303935066, 814269, 9753108. Ignitors of the same shape (i.e. rectangular) are interchangeable, if you can splice the wires.
Good luck! PS go to searspartsdirect.com, type in your model number for the exact replacement part number.
eerb, most likley your ignitor failed. When you turn the oven on to bake you should hear a relay click on the electronic control (clock). You can do a couple of things here. If you have a ohmmeter the ignitor should ohm out at between 50 and 150 ohms. You can physically swap out the bake and broil ignitors to see if the ignitor comes on in bake. Or you can swap the bake and broil wires on the board. They should be marked BA and BR. This way when you turn on bake, the broil ignitor should glow and verify you have power going to it. Carefull when testing, be sure to kill power to the range before any changes. Catriver...post back
