I have an older kyocera KM-1635 (1650 for the US). I am trying to get it to work with windows 7. I am moving everything to a new win 2008 server. I have the drivers but kyocera uses a utility called kprint or KMprint to load a different type of port instead of using a standard TCP/IP port. Is there a way to get the print to function without the kprint software since it does not work on the new server. I even tried compatibility mode.
Thanks
The KM-1650 will print useing a standard TCP/IP port printing over the network, I have done it ever since the machine came out. Load the print driver as a local printer and then setup a TCP/IP port and set the printer to print to that port in the printer properties.
Let me know if yo need more help.
