Downloading music I have downloaded the sandisk software on my computer. The only icon that shows up is sansa media converter. I am assuming that a second icon should show up with the title sansa c200? Anyway, I have been trying to download music from MP3 Rocket 4.9.12 PRO and have had No SUCCESS!! I attach the usb cord to the computer and of course to my sandisk. I have moved the music over to my windows media player to convert the music and then transfer it to the sandisk. My problem is is that it says it is connected and then says it is writing....but nothing is being transferred. Also my only choice to transfer to is SANSA C240...which I only have the 200 model. Could that be the problem? I am not sure why this has been so complicated but would really appreciate your help. I have not been using the media converter icon as I am under the impression I only use that for photos right? I have transferred photos with no problem Sincerely Tawnia

Do you have an installer of this software or you just downloaded from the internet?? try to reinstall the software and make sure its updated to improve the function of your software.

Have just purchased refurbed player and although ok on receipt ,have charged battery and downloaded music BUT now will not turn on .

Sansa Media Converter should be used to convert videos and pictures in the appropriate file extension and size: notice, files should have certain formats before converting them.

connect to your pc using usb connection. sansa should be recognized as storage media drive. navigate to the drive. Drag and drop files to music/video folder. Enable show hidden files and folders in your windows folder settings. Tools>Folder Options>View. Some of the folders are hidden. You can delete the preloaded music also.Some of them are in the radio folder.

I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sansa e250, too. Sounds like you need to download a Sansa Media Converter.

Here's the link: http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/download.asp?driverId=184

Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!
