Paper is Jammed in Fuser

Paper is jammed in the fuser. I can't get to it because the paper tore and now is too small for my hands. How do I remove the paper from the fuser component?

Hp3035 paper jam inback door

If you have a paper jam in the back door of your HP LaserJet 3035 printer, follow these steps to clear the jam safely:
  1. Turn Off the Printer: Start by turning off the printer to avoid any potential accidents or injuries.
  2. Open the Back Door: Locate the back door of the printer. It is typically accessible from the back of the printer and may have a release latch or button. Gently open the back door.
  3. Remove the Jammed Paper: Carefully remove the jammed paper from the printer. Avoid tearing the paper while removing it. If the paper is stuck firmly, try to pull it out in the direction of the paper path.
  4. Inspect for Residual Paper: After removing the jammed paper, check for any small bits of paper or debris that may have been left behind. Clear any remaining paper or debris from the back door area.
  5. Check the Fuser Area: The fuser assembly, which is located just after the back door, may also cause paper jams. Inspect the fuser area for any visible jams or obstructions.
  6. Close the Back Door: After ensuring that there is no more jammed paper or debris, close the back door of the printer securely until it clicks into place.
  7. Turn On the Printer: Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on. It should be ready to use.
  8. Test Print: Perform a test print to ensure that the paper jam issue has been resolved.

How do you remove fuser

->Turn off the printer and remove the power cord. Allow the printer to cool off for 30 minutes to an hour before attempting to work with the fuser. The fuser gets very hot while the printer is in use, and you can be burned if you touch it before it cools.

->Press the release lever on the side door to open it. Pull down the fuser lever so you have room to grab any jammed paper.

->Pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit. Hold the paper at its lowest point and pull downward. Flip the fuser lever back up and close the side door.

I have paper jammed in Xerox 7700 rollers and cannot remove even though I release the green lever on right side. Do I need to release something else?

The green lever you are referring to are I'm assuming is on the fuser. If the paper is jammed in the fuser and you are unable to remove it try removing the fuser and trying to remove the paper again, there are two thumb screws that hold it in. Make sure the printer has been off for awhile because the fuser gets VERY hot. If paper is constantly jamming in the fuser or you are unable to remove the paper you should replace the fuser, part number 016-1887-00 iteminc.com offers them for $$235 new and $139 for a refurb. Hope this helps, good luck

Jam inside top cover 13.05.00 also change fuser assembly

To remove paper jam. Just remove the toner cartridge and pullout jammed paper. If still coming paper jammed error message. Switch of the printer and the printer will roll over the paper jammed.

Changing of fuser drum is required if the print out came with the black strips. This happens when you print large volume of printing jobs.

202 paperjam open rear door. My printer did have a paper jam and we removed all the paper we could find, but that message won't go away and it hasn't worked since! HELP!

Hello and Welcome to FixYa

Start by following the steps below to get the paper out from the machine.
  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.

Advanced

If that doesn't help then you would have to start taking apart the machine to find the jammed paper and remove it, its not something a just anyone should do unless you have experience.

you may have to take the machine to a repairer to get the jammed paper bits out of the machine, if you don't see paper jammed in the machine it does not mean that there wouldn't be a paper jam somewhere in the unit along the paper path. Some of the switches or sensors might have gotten stuck.

Printer problem

even a very small piece of paper (A small piece torn off a jammed sheet) can cause the sensor arm to stick in place giving a false paper jam. Double check the entire paper path (what is visible) using a flashlight.
Also, check for broken "flag" sensors. Basically a flag sensor is a small piece of plastic that is pushed out of the way when the paper is traveling through the unit. If one of these flags is broken it may display a paper jam error as well (The flag after paper travels through will drop back into the paper path.) If this is broken it will not trigger the sensor and thus the error condition exists..
Most likely you have a small piece of paper stuck inside the paper path somewhere.
Do not, I repeat do not use any sharp or pointed metal objects to remove any small paper from within the fuser unit, the fuser covers are very delicate and such poking and prodding will likely damage the fuser covers, causing bad print quality or drastically decrease the fuser life (a small tear will quickly render the fuser useless).
Hope this helps!

Sharp AR-M450 is showing error code ''H4-00''

You're getting a heat roller low temp detection on the fuser in your copier. The fuser is the device that provides heat and pressure to the toner to bond/fuse it to the paper (it's that black, rectangular box in the upper part of the body when you open the left-hand side of the door).

Chances are a peice of paper is jammed up inside and blocking the sensor (probably a small peice that tore from a page someone tried to pull from the fuser). That or the temp sensor is defective.

Paper jam in fuser

Remove the right hand side cover of the printer, (loosen the two screws, one is at the back).... see the small stepper motor at the top right?
Rotate the white gear teeth connected to it, just visible, DOWNWARDS, ANTI CLOCKWISE, using a blunt screwdriver or something, a few teeth at a time, this will eventually rotate the fuser roller and the paper will come out of the bottom of the fuser.
