My Xbox 360 elite wont let me playwith my friend on live but it will say that there are network problems. I try to fix it but then it says it needs to be set on moderate. is this because thast i have wireless and my friend is connected to the modom.?

Depends if you have an Xbox Elite or an older Xbox 360?
If you have an Xbox Elite then there will be an in- built wireless, For older xbox 360's you will have to go and buy an Xbox wireless adapter.
If you go to settings, network settings, and select connect to xbox live via wireless then you will be prompted to input your security details for your Wireless and you should then be connected via wireless to xbox live.

XBOX 360 generate lot of network errors ........ so don't worry, you can solve this easily ..... i got some problem with my XBOX360 and its resolved by the help of Repair Guide

maybe youve got to much memory!

um you cant connect from a xbox 360 to a other 360 to go online youll need to be hooked up to the internet directly

there was a update a while back this year or last that changes the whole of xbox live gaming eg parties are now availible new channels inside xbox spotlight etc nothing to worrie about

your nat type is strict you can change this by opening up your internet explorer go to tools then internet options and make the needed changes

2 Solutions-----

Number 1 - If your ethernet cord is going from a modem straight to your 360, then get your modem replaced by your ISP.
This will probobly be free, but if your charged, it will be a small fee.

Number 2 - If you have it going to a routerfrom a modem, then go to your 360 main screen, scroll to the far right 'System' blade, select the 4th choice 'Network Settings', and test your Xbox LIVE Connection. It will ask you to sign out. Select yes.

Results should come up (for wired router)

Network Adapter - Wired
Wireless Network - (Left Blank)
IP Address - Confirmed
DNS - Confirmed
MTU - Confirmed
ICMP - Confirmed
XBOX LIVE - Confirmed
NAT - (either moderate, opened, or strict)

If all those are the same, the problem has nothing to do with the xbox itself and you need a new router, or modem.

If results come out to be
''Network Adapter - Disconnected''
After test is run (and your 360 is connected properly to your router AND modem then you have a hardware problem. Whether the problem is in the 360 or the router/modem is easy to test.

Connect the modem directly to the 360 via ethernet. If this fixes the problem, the router is fail.

If you can get on the internet wirelessly and grounded on a computer, the 360 is busted.
