You will have to buy a USB connector cable and cut off one side. I hope you know how to solder. The USB cable is very cheap, and if you know how to solder well, your problem is solved.

What types of toys should be given to dogs that play for a long period of time?

If your dog is very playful and can keep itself busy for an hour or more a day, then you should give it rope and chew toys.

I was whatching my daughters dog while she was away on business at my home. some how some way he managed to chew off the yellow connector plug for the speaker and chewed it up beyound use, as well as chew...

I was able to catch a glimpse of the back of this unit. I cannot tell by the picture but it is either a RJ11 connector or RJ45 Connector. RJ 11 is the connector on your landline phones and RJ45 connectors are used in computer networking applications. If you have either of these cable laying around you can verify which is which, after that if you do not want to buy the crimp tool for these connectors I would suggest sacrifice whichever cable it ends up being (RJ11 or RJ45) and splice your speaker wire to the two active leads, + and -. Good luck!

I need a cord for the mad dog multi media device so that possibly I can have this external hard drive accessed.

What device do you need a cord for? The Mad Dog Dominator given above is an internal IDE CD/DVD drive. Thus it can be connected to a 4 pin peripheral molex connector to the power supply and a 40 pin IDE ribbon cable. Some USB/SATA/IDE devices will be able to connect to the drive for external use (since it is a full size 5 1/4" drive). Similarly, you can find some USB external device enclosures that will work with the IDE connect.

There are IDE to SATA converters that you can add to connect the drive to a computer with no IDE port on the motherboard. (There are also power adapters to convert a SATA power connector to the 4 pin in the rare case that you do not have a free 4 pin connector. However, a 4-pin y-connector is usually a better choice).

All of the above items are available from most computer supply shops.

I wish that I could be of more help.

(external hard drives currently can have one or more of the following connectors: USB 2.0, e-SATA, Firewire, ethernet, or USB 3.0. The USB 2.0 is the most common. A standard USB cable (A/B) is the usual one for a USB 2.0. These are also available at most computer shops. Look at the device and the size of the opening to determine the cable end needed. Standard B is a square end with beveled corners. Usually a text or icon on the device will indicate the port type.)

USB cable

My Optio uses a standard mini USB connector - you can buy them for a tenth of the price for example, here in Aussie I bought one for $2 at a local computer mart
