connect to TV using VGA port and select device or mode to PC in tv menu. or using remote
press laptop fn +F4
or see display change button in FN buttons .press with or without FN button . if you use HDMI pls cinnect with HDMI cable and in TV pls select HDMI mode in video mode
There is a row of Function keys at the top of the keyboard on every Toshiba notebook. These give you quick access to some useful functions. To activate them, just press the FN button on the keyboard together with the function key to activate the following commands.

I also had one of theses rear projection Toshibas. Tedelex are the agents for Toshiba in SA, however they aren't very helpful. Your best bet is to buy a one 4all remote and go through the Toshiba codes. This is what I did when I lost my original remote. It worked fine for me. I have since given this TV away so I can't give you the exact code, but those in the instruction manual do work.

there is a slide cover at the bottom of remote control. slide downside to open and then you will find a battery logo and a direction sign at the left bottom. do as what it shows and you will find battery compartment. good luck - annie
