We just purchased a toshiba 61g9uxa tv second hand but have no manual, so we are having problems tuning in etc. Does anyone have a manual? It came with a Toshiba CT-9969 remote. Any help would be appreciated. Rgds Samantha

You need the (original correct) remote. Alternatively, you can use a programmable remote, but the ''menu'' must also be compatible with the TV. If you cannot ''navigate'' the Menu and Settings with the remote, you are stuck without a solution. // With the remote you enter the menu ''settings'' and then enter ''channel tuning.'' Then set for either ''manual tuning'' or (best bet) set for ''auto-tuning.''

Two things, I was using a flaky budget=price SCART cable which caused a colour probolem. A techie friend said to view on AV rather than TV, which worked.

OK - its all sorted now -

setup > general settings > channel > autotuning > auto tuning (DVB & Aanalog)/ DVB Channel setup

If you are sure, that there's no way to do it manually on the TV, there are only two solutions: buy a new remote control according to your TV set model (sometimes it's hard to find) or buy a universal remote control

good this tells you that the convergence IC's need to be replaced
if the IC's wer good it would tryto come on this is a youke isolation test.

also check r417 if bad replace.

I found the manual on the Target website. Now I just need to find a remote that will work with the TV. cheers

Its for the latest model Toshiba have on their projector TVs. And if that doesnt work try any of the models which have the 61 prefix as there are two others. If that doesnt work email Toshiba UK or whichever country you are in.

please check web site for any thing in remote. www.remotes.com and give model name in search. hopr this will help. good luck.
