Compaq c500 wont boot. Startup repair cant repair automatically.. i need help please

find someone with a win8 disk & try rebooting it with it, choosing repair.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. here is my solution... when you boot your window when you're middle in dos loading press F8 and select boot in safe mode... then when you are in windows click start --> all programs ---> accessories---> sytem tools ---> system restore... hope you back up your windows.... try to restore your window in earlier time...

Boot to Advance Boot Options by tapping F8 while booting your computer. Once you are in the Advance Boot Options menu, Choose "Repair Your Computer". That should initialize the startup repair. This should give you a headstart. Post here if you need further help..

if you have the original windows vista OS cd you can boot up as though you are going to install the OS. It will then list the current windows installations on the system. Click on the one you are having problems with and click repair. This should fix the MBR info and other boot up problems.

try to boot in safemode.then uninstall the display drivers.plz post your comment

If it is new, the startup should of taken about 20 minutes to initialize first off.


I would take it back if that is the case


However if it is not new follow these steps to get it working.
