Philips TVs **** - whoever said "Just buy a new power board fix ur tv" obviously works for Philips - again, Philips has horrible products that break and no customer service. Everyone that has ever purchased a Philips TV complained about it online. I wish I knew before I bought the piece of broken **** sitting in my living room.

I think Philips should be sued by anyone with repetative syptom problems. I bought my 1st 42" LCD on January 2008 and it blacked out on November 2011.

Since then I bought the refurbished identical tv 2 years newer and after 3 days, it has remote control complications and I think that it deserves a youtube destruction video and a class action lawsuit to follow. If anyone knows of such class action pending lawsuits, I'm on board. [email protected] .

Depending on warranty you can call LG for an extension due to pending class action lawsuits for defective devices from washing machines to cellular handsets. My experience is with my LG V10.

Hello,

That model TV actually is covered under a class action lawsuit settlement because of bad power supply boards. Samsung will repair the board free of charge. You need to contact them to get the repair scheduled. The settlement covers all power related repairs for 18 months from March 2, 2012. Here is additional information about the class actions settlement with contact numbers to call Samsung:

On the xbox dashboard i go to go on a game and it keeps saying open tray

Its called the OPEN TRAY ERROR: If your console is out of warranty, Microsoft will charge you $99 to fix it. I started a Facebook page called "Xbox 360 open tray error class action lawsuit". http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/pages/XBox-360-Open-Tray-Error-Class-Action-Lawsuit/114541845245219?ref=search&sid=1468606128.265784874..1
Everyone I know who owns a 360 has this error. Please join (like) the page if you use Facebook so we can see how many of us have this problem. The page tells you how to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. When enough people complain, a lawyer will be more likely to file a class action lawsuit against Microsoft on our behalf. It took a class action lawsuit to get Microsoft to compensate their customers for the red ring of death. They need to (and will) fix this error too.

Hitachi 50v715 light engine problem

Lots of their sets had this problem(sony also has the same problem and they now cover the engine for 3 years) I have learned after being in this business for over 30 years---people who take no for an answer do not get anything---keep going up the chain of command and keep of record of who you talk to with date, name, etc If you spend enough time on the phone you may get somewhere--you have nothing to lose by trying. If you paid for the set by check or credit card you should be able to prove you paid for it and when.
