Kenmore 417.80042990 (10 year old) dryer makes a squeak as it tumbles the clothes dry. Seems to be worse as the clothes get dryer. FYI-the felt was replaced about 4 years ago, not sure it's that. But the 'new' felt is starting to make occasional brown marks on clothes again.

This is a frigidaire made dryer with kenmores name on it. The drum bearing needs more grease. You really need to know what your doing before you take that job on yourself. Its easy for me...but I have been doing it for 20 years and thats the way I role

If this is the electric version then after 15 years you probably need a new heating element, they are not difficult to install and are not terribly expensive as a DIY project.

My 80 series Kenmore Dryer is heating up, tumbling, but my clothes aren't drying. It's taking 6-7 cycles to get anything dry, I have checked the vent hose and everything. All seems to be checking out ok....
You need to check your vent, or your vent system in your dryer. You also need to check to see if your clothes are tumbling. If not then your belt could be broke. Good luck!

Drum seems to be loose. Metal to metal sound each time it rotates

might wont to try greasing rollers and tension pulley.the rollers may need replaced or even the tension pulley.
