Hi, I need to re-word, every time the laptop is switched on there is a hardware switch on the laptop for the wifi that needs to be pressed to switch the wifi card on. Is there any way of changing the settings so that it is always on.
The button is pressed and cannot be slid to a permanently on position, is there something in the software settings that will override this??

Well you have to click on start in the bottom left hand corner of your PC. Than on the right there is a button that says "Connect to". Click on it. Then press View Wireless Connections. When your done just press on your optimum wifi/comcast wifi.

To many software running in background or to many malware slows down your computer to a freeze.

Why wont my computer start no lights at all

Bad switch? or bad power supply? You can jump the post on the motherboard for the switch for power on. Just back track the power switch to the motheoard and jump the post.

Wifi switch damaged and i need to turn wireless on

You would either need to replace the portion of the case where the wifi switch is located (can't buy just the switch) check on ebay for cheap replacements.
You could if you want remove the wifi switch and hot wire the contacts together (permanent wifi on)

Where is the switch that turns my bluetooth on and off

On some laptops the switch used to disable WiFi also disables bluetooth. If that's not the case for you, you can turn bluetooth off by simply right clicking on the bluetooth icon in the System Tray (next to the clock on the Start bar) and clicking "Turn Adapter Off"

My machine is Acer Aspire M7711 preinstalled with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium.CPU Q8300, Geforce GTX 130, 600GB Default RAID Mode, 4GB Memory. My problem is Vista Home Premium Installation...

Im assuming its a new machine and when you first booted Vista failed. When you boot up, press the F10 key. This will take you to a menu to start your Acer machine from the begining. It takes a while for the first complete boot. I hope this answers your question. If not, post back and we'll diagnose your problem again. Best of luck!
