Some seconds after I put the power plug into the outlet the flashing green light turned to a flashing red color.
Of course, after I selected Document in the Smart Panel, I received an error message. It indicated that the scanner connection was having a problem. I connected and reconnected all the wires.
In addition, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, including the driver.
As well, I tried connecting the scanner to another of my computers, and, yet, I continued to see the flashing red light and the same problems indicated above.
Is there anything else I can do. Thank you in advance.
Please try the following to resolve your issue:
1. Unplug the USB cable and the AC adapter from the back of the scanner.
2. Toggle the Transportation lock (located on the bottom of the scanner) back and forth 5 times, ensuring that the lock is all the way in the unlock position.
3. Reconnect the USB cable and the AC adapter cable, and then try to scan.
