Is there such a thing as circut board power pack for a Plasma tv 50P3CD?

U have some mechanical skills like take things aparts and putting things it back togther again and some electronic troubleshooting skills?Yes?Than this tv must have be take aparts and check those 2 tv buffer boards out which one it is dead or both of those buffer boards are dead the 2 buffer buffer boards that are help providing the tv backlight for the tv plasma screen panel to produces pictures it is the problems.No mechanicals skills at all and understanding nothing about electronic circuitries at all.Call all tvs shops around in ur cities area and get the best quotes for the best prices to fix ur tv.

Tries unplug,replug tv about hour later,see if the tv reset it self.Not.Same problems,electronics circuitries are more reliable now and thank to the simiconductors ICS and the transistors.These day the fuses are the last thing to goes or not at all.The problems,u describing is the cause of the power supply board is dead.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug in to it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

hello, the blinks indicate a fualty board or circut if you can find a service manual for your set, you can count the blinks and identify the trouble,
these circuts are working with extreme high heat so they do go bad eventually, so find a service manual and then change the part as indicated in the service manual or have a service tech service it for you that will be a bit more expensive than finding the part and exchanging it yourself but remeber to follow electronic safety procedures as these circuts store high voltages and can be very dangerous,, generally using a service manual will help you pin point the trouble .. hope this helps

I don't have a fix, but the same thing happened to my Philips Plasma and the V repair man tells me that Philips no longer make the service pack which contained all the parts required to fix the TV. Basically Plasma screens run very hot and the components on the main board breakdown. So when the power supply goes so do many other parts. Philips used to supply all the bits in a service pack so it would seem that they (Philips) knew all about this inevitable fault from early production.
I am livid and if you paid what I paid then you are probably livid too. I expected it to breakdown one day but I never thought that it would be impossible to fix. I would never have bought a plasma if I knew it was considered to be a disposable item by the manufacturer. It could be worse, apparently Samsung don't support their TV's after 2 years.
I am phoning Philips in the morning and will post the results of that call if they have anything positive to say.

if you have no power or lights flashing then you have to check your ac cord and ac supply this is the power socket itself if good then power supply board fuses after this check dg board be aware there high voltage and its dangerous to touch these circuts. if your not familiar with electronics and voltages. let a pro take a look at it and find the bad circut or fualty boards. hope this helps..

that is a sign of a possible power problem it may be fixed by exchanging the powersupply or some other iternal panel the best way to troubleshoot this is by getting a service manual if your inclined electronically. basically voltage checks and identified fualty circut or board
this happens with lcd and plasma panels the circut may go bad and loss the proper voltage capacities and it cuases the tv to go into a safety circut like this.
have it serviced or check by a qualified lcd and plasma shop they may have the parts you need for it.

hello, your plasma activated a shutdown circut. something caused a fault in one or more of your internal circut boards. it is common it happens alot with these plasma tv's. it happens if theres something wrong internally. this is protecting your plasma panel from further damage, i dont think it has anything to do with the back light that is lcd. this is for main plasma panel protection .
blinking lights mean theres a problem with the power supply load voltages and the plasma main panel will not powered up fully.
it can be a number of different situations or even a fuse, what you can do is find a qualified service center online that offers free in home estimates, you can asked them over the phone they will know becuase of the number of times the tv blinks. they will be able to pin point the problem and usaully it will be a matter of exchanging one or more internal boards or the power supply it self.. i had this same trouble with my panasonic th42pz700u i would suggest letting a qualified tech fix it is not easy to find the fualt without proper training, electronic testing equipment, specific model schematics and repair service manuals. they will also have to adjust the voltages when they finish so it isnt easy to do yourself besides the voltages inside are really dangerous.

hello, you may have to get your tv serviced soon. it is developing internal board trouble. the plasma screen is controlled in sections by different boards or they work together to produce a sustainable image. it helps to have a picture to see what section has the line then you can get an idea of what board or boards are fualty.
there are many resistors capacitors and diodes and all types of components that with time get hot or over heated and loose there resistence properties or voltage values they become weaker or higher depending where the fualt is. this cuases the boards to go bad.
a local plasma service tech can give you an over the phone ruff estimate for the repairs if you can describe the trouble then you can decided to get it restored. the price depends on what board or boards are developing circut fualts. its cheaper to get it fixed now that it is still functional at least you know most of the circuts are okay..

hello, if you have a waranty for this tv dont wait take it back to the store for a replacement or repair. contac panasonic for details. they offer a free in home repair service but only if your the original buyer and the set is still covered. this is a not easy or a user repairable situation it is a circut shutdown cuased by a fualty power supply or bad internal board, blinking lights mean theres a shutdown circut preventing full power up panel status.11 blinks pana (th50pz77u) = pb board bad or fualty
since the pb board is a small part it may be a quick fix for a service tech and may not be as much as a power supply or other internal board.
in one of my panny service manuals this 11 times blinking indicates a bad pb board this controls the fans and feeds back to the other other circuts if it is bad it cuases the blinking fualt.
blinking times indicate what is wrong with the tv..
since i dont have your model number i cant tell you specifically if this is the problem, the pb board is one of the smallest internal boards . this info is from a service manual for (th50pz77u)
what is your model number?. the tv is blinking this means it is in need of service it is still repairable. sometimes components you pluged in the plasma may cuase fualts
also if your power outlet is not properly grounded or is not correctly wired you may get trouble. there are 12 diferent blinking sequences from 1 to 12
generally a service tech can come out and check it for you and may be able to fix on the spot. if you have a waranty your doing great if not try a service that offers free in home estimate there are many who will give you a free in home estimate and compete for your business..
