BASE AND MIDLINE SYSTEM

Refer to Owner's Manual for audio system operating instructions.

Power is supplied at all times

through 15A fuse [No. 31, located in the fuse and fusible link box]

to audio unit terminal 6.

With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied

through 10A fuse [No. 6, located in the fuse block (J/B)]

to audio unit terminal 10.

Ground is supplied through the case of the audio unit.

Audio signals are supplied

through audio unit terminals 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 15, and 16

to terminals + and - of front door speaker LH and RH

to terminals + and - of rear door speaker LH and RH

to terminals + and - of tweeter LH and RH.

BOSE® SYSTEM

Refer to Owner's Manual for audio system operating instructions.

Power is supplied at all times

through 15A fuse [No. 31, located in the fuse and fusible link box]

to audio unit terminal 6, and

to Bose speaker amp. terminal 1.

With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied

through 10A fuse [No. 6, located in the fuse block (J/B)]

to audio unit terminal 10.

Ground is supplied through the case of the audio unit.

Ground is also supplied

to speaker amp. terminal 17

through body ground B117.

Audio signals are supplied

through audio unit terminals 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 15, and 16

to speaker amp. terminals 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30.

Audio signals are amplified by the speaker amp.

The amplified audio signals are supplied

through speaker amp. terminals 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 19

to terminals + and - of front door speaker LH and RH

to terminals + and - of rear door speaker LH and RH

to terminals + and - of tweeter LH and RH

to terminals + and - of subwoofer LH and RH.

SPEED DEPENDENT VOLUME CONTROL (MIDLINE SYSTEM AND BOSE SYSTEM)

If activated, the radio output volume will be automatically adjusted to compensate for increased driving noises

at higher driving speeds.
The radio receives a vehicle speed signal from the combination meter, and selects the output volume.

Verify radio on/off input to amplifier and verify battery and ground connections. Repair wiring as necessary. 3. Radio faulty. 3. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual. 4. Amplifier faulty, if equipped. 4. Replace amplifier. NO AUDIO AT SOME SPEAKERS - RADIO DISPLAY AND CONTROLS ARE OPERATIONAL 1. Wiring faulty between amplifier and speaker. 1. Repair wiring as necessary. 2. Wiring faulty between radio and amplifier. 2. Refer to speaker diagnostics. Repair wiring as necessary. 3. Wiring faulty between radio and speaker. 3. Radio faulty. 4. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual. POOR AUDIO AT SOME SPEAKERS - RADIO DISPLAY AND CONTROLS ARE OPERATIONAL 1. Wiring faulty between amplifier and speaker. 1. Repair wiring as necessary. 2. Wiring faulty between radio and amplifier. 2. Refer to speaker diagnostics. Repair wiring as necessary. 3. Wiring faulty between radio and speaker. 3. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual. SOUND DISTORTION (VIBRATION FROM SPEAKER AREA, BUZZING - HUMMING) 1. Door trim panel loose or missing fasteners. 1. Inspect door trim panel and correct as necessary. Replace any missing fasteners. 2. Water shield loose or misaligned. 2. Inspect water shield and adjust as required. 3. Items placed in door trim panel map pockets vibrating or moving from side to side. 3. Remove items from door trim panel. Ensure that vibration is no longer present. NO RADIO DISPLAY - AUDIO AND CONTROLS ARE OPERATIONAL 1. Radio faulty. 1. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual. NO RADIO DISPLAY - AUDIO AND CONTROLS ARE NOT OPERATIONAL 1. Fuse faulty. 1. Check radio fuse and Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) fuse in Junction Block (JB). Replace fuses, if required. 2. Radio connector faulty. 2. Check for loose or corroded radio connector. Repair, if required. POOR RADIO RECEPTION WITH KEY IN ACCESSORY OR IGNITION ON POSITION 1. Antenna faulty. 1. Replace the antenna. 2. Radio ground faulty. 2. Check for continuity between radio chassis and a known good ground. There should be continuity. Repair ground, if required. 3. Radio noise suppression faulty. 3. Repair or replace ground strap as necessary. 4. Radio faulty. 4. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual. 5. Faulty rear window defogger. 5. Verify that the rear defogger grid is functioning properly, repair as necessary (Refer to 08 - Electrical/Heated Glass - Diagnosis and Testing). NO COMPACT DISC OR DVD OPERATION 1. Faulty CD/DVD. 1. Insert known good CD/DVD and test operation. 2. Foreign material on CD/DVD. 2. Clean CD/DVD and test operation. 3. Condensation on CD/DVD or optics. 3. Allow temperature of vehicle interior to stabilize and test operation. 4. Faulty CD/DVD player. 4. Refer to appropriate Diagnostic Service Manual.

or go to ebay and type in 16 pin car audio as your search, you may find what you are looking for there. I haven't seen one, is it a standard iso type?
Surely if it is Tevion specific there should have been one with the radio?

If you all ready try cleaning the CD lens now the next step is disconnecting the negative wire from the car battery for about 10 min. but make sure that you have the radio code before disconnect the battery or make sure that your radio does not have a security code, if nothing happen after this try you must send the radio for repair usually they have to replace de CD lens. just take your deck to your local car audio shop and show em what you need it will cost you about twenty dollars though

Hello I have the same problem but no body do answers . Maby we change radio {panasonic or oder :-). The usb connection on my new Tevion 5705 won't read the music from my usb key. the usb key has been re-formatted to a FAT, and then a FAT32, file system and we have then copied the DOS files onto the usb key along with music files in mp3 & W4ma types though we still can't seem to get the Tevion 5705 car radio to read the music from the usb key when inserted. We keep getting an 'Error 13' message, can someone please help . my email : [email protected] Ladi
