Fading prints and new cartridge error, will not aliegn

[email protected]
I get a cartridge error when I installed the new cartridge, it was fading at the end of prints before I put the new cartridge in. I got the new cartridge to alien "once" and it still was fading prints, so I removed it and put it back in and it will not aliegn, i keep getting errors, is it the new cartridge? I tried the cleaning process a couple of times too, and it did not seem to make any difference.

It's possible it is the new cartridge, but it sounds more like the print heads. I had the same printer and same problems until I changed the print heads. You are better off buying American Made Printer Ink Cartridges Even If They Cost A Little Less Than Name Brands. I get mine from www.officeinks.com with a 1 year quality and satisfaction guarantee with free return shipping. I have used it once and had no hassle.

This link will take you to hp support for your printer. You can select from the list to help diagnose your problem. I went into "Faded or dull colors in printout" option and found a very comprehensive procedure to try and identify the root cause of your problem.
GOOD LUCK!

HP LaserJet 1320n Printer connected with usb to pc running on windows7; faded printing; economode = off; printer Density =3; what could be the problem

Faded printing is usuallly caused by an empty or defective toner cartridge. If the toner is new and the printer was working fine before the toner change then you might have a defective cartridge, or you may not have removed the tape strip from the cartridge when you installed it.

Problem with Dell 1720 printer

Hello

You have to check couple things in this case.

Ensure that the printer cover is closed.
  1. Remove the toner cartridge.
  2. Firmly shake it side-to-side and front-to-back several times to redistribute the toner.
  3. Reinsert the toner cartridge, and continue printing.
Repeat this procedure multiple times until the print remains faded. When the print remains faded, replace the toner cartridge.

Prints 2 or 3 pages then fades out

There is a problem with your printhead and it needs to be replaced, but this is a completely free process, kodak won't charge you anything for it. You need to call their support center to have it replaced, or you may go to their website on kodak.com/go/aiosupport to replace it yourself on line.

Faded or no printing of documents

First, have you removed the protective tape from the bottom of the printer cartridge? I know it sounds simple, but it's something easy to overlook when you install a new cartridge.
