Go to www.acer.com > US > Support > Drivers > Put you model number in > Select your operating system (Windows 7 64-bit or other) > download the web cam driver and double click it to install. If this procedure does not work, you probably have a web cam failure for your built-in web cam. You can purchase a portable web cam and plug it into your USB port.
Let Windows "Device Manager" find the driver, Imaging devices, "USB Video Device".
Download the free software from nchsoftware.com. Look for Debut Video Capture Software v 1.49, install it and it works for the built-in Acer Crystal Eye Web Cam.
