How can i remove virus worm/autoit permanently

Am so sick of surfing the net on how i can delete the virus permanently without formatting my laptop because it is so expensive..please help me it slowers down the speed of my laptop...thank you so much

The problem is showing as (worm/ autoit.wlz), Trojans (Generic 12. BWTK), (Downloader. Generic 8 .yrd), (Dropper.Generic 8 AISV), (Generic 12.BXEZ), (Downloader.Agent.AVED)

When i switch the pc off and on again, there is a female voice advising there is a risk associated with pc & to download their products (privacy components) there is a list of threats they are highlighting as it flashes. It mentions about updating to free the problem??

having this problem is an ache to my head... most of the files being folder, folders are turn to .exe files...

Its simple guys..!!!
if it asks for permission to access outlook..don't permit it because it is a smart virus and is going to spread it to all the people on your contact list...!!!
simply open task manager and end process tree of KHATRA.exe , gHost.exe , xplorer.exe and OUTLOOK.exe seperately...!!
then run your anti virus or download one if you don't have one..!!!
run a complete computer scan in detail..!!
then delete all files which are infected by the virus because the results contain only duplicate files which are created by the virus

Guys, it is not difficutl to remove them, avg 8 free edition also good to remove worm/autoit.cma. This worm is quite capable replicate itself to .exe file and normally it won't be a big problem to remove. It is important you have at least one anti verus software install on your computer. for me avg, awas free wares, supterspy, spybot work very good, they are all free softwares too good luck

avg free should get rid of it..

Hi. My Antispy located a worm AutoIt/Renocide.gen!B.

try again..... restart pc ...try to access live update via norton anti virus software..if no joy remove norton antivirus and reinstall software.ps if you try to reinstall norton without first removing norton software will do this for you , may a better option bacause sometimes windows remove app leaves data behind which can sometimes cause problems especially with norton antivirus.
if it was me I'd wipe my pc and reinstall fresh and all software because if you make mistake with norton youre gonna end up having to reinstall everything anyway.there is a program off the net on norton site called norton removal tool ...this is just the job ...if you cant find it let me know and I will either send you the net page for it or can upload it to you via email....
