Is there any bluetooth device present in 2310 travelmate series if yes
y it is not working with given drivers

Hai,
I purchased Acer travelmate 2310 i never find any bluetooth drivers in my system,where i get the driver and what is the solution.

Look in your computer's device manager (via system in control panel) to see if yours has bluetooth (some are factory options)

It will show if it exists and if it's working or not.

If it doesn't have bluetooth, the easiest (and cheapest) method to add it, is to use a bluetooth USB dongle.

It may be that the 244XV does not have a Bluetooth module installed as standard. Some of the TravelMate 240 series may have it installed, so they used the same casing for the whole range.

If your button does not work and there is no icon, check your device manager for missing drivers. If nothing is missing, I would surmise that there is no Bluetooth device inside your machine.

You can obtain the drivers for this machine from Acer (see URL: ftp://ftp.acer-euro.com/notebook/TravelMate_24x_25x/, and click driver, followed by your OS - Windows XP or Windows 2k). The Bluetooth driver is there, but it will only make any difference if you have the relevant device installed.

Yer hey i have the 2310 and a while back i discovered the bluetooth app in safe mode when i tried to open it it replied acess denied and told me to upgrade the driver. the travelmate 2310 does have...

My unit is acer travelmate 3260 my problem is my bluetooth driver doesnt work can you give my bluetooth driver that i can be use..that suit to my laptop

The only place to get that driver will be Acer. The drivers are going to be specific to your machine and device combination. You can download these drivers from their site for your operating system. If you changed the operating system from the one that came on the machine you will need to find a machine with the same OS using that bluetooth device on the Acer website and download the driver from there.

The acer travelmate 2310 has a bluetooth sign on the front of it but i can't see anything about bluetooth in any of the menus. do you know if it does have bluetooth?

It is a manufacturing option as to whether your individual laptop actaully has the bluetooth transmitter in it. If it is not showing up in the device manager even though the driver is installed, then I would venture to sat that you do not have the bluetooth on your particular model.

Your Acer 2310 should have a built in wireless card,it should show in My computer>right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager>network adapters, here there should be two listed, 1 wireless, 1 wired lan card the driver can be found here: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/tm_2310.html
