Have you tried the Vista drivers from OKI? This link has the Vista drivers. Windows7 is an extension of Vista although this statement may generate a lot flack....
Oki ERROR 073 is a H/W Overrun detect. this occurs when the video circuit has set the overrun bit. Restart the printer and check the first print out. Try printing a different job and then reprint the same job that the error occurred. If you get the same error again, try using a different driver, ie swap from PS or PCL whichever you were using to see if that clears the error.
Turn off the printer Turn the printer on whilst holding down Menu button. (Display says user maintenance.) Press the menu button three times. (The display will say drum counter reset.) Press enter key. The system should go back on line, if not press on-line key.
You can just put a new fuse on the drum. When you insert the drum
the machine resets the counter and then blows the fuse. So if the unit
is ok and you just wish to run it through another cycle just change the
fuse. This means you cannot just put a full unit in from another
machine as it will not reset the counter until you put a new fuse in it
as you found out. This applies to drums transfer belt etc. Note
with regard to refilling the toner, some printers have 2 sections. 1
where you put the fresh toner and an after collection section in the
same unit. You must empty the 2nd section if you refill it more than 2
or 3 times
There is no work arround for the problem, OKI have not offered updated support for the Vista enviroment (drivers) although the software can be used in vista!
Con el cartucho instalado en su posición, tiramos de él para arriba y sacamos todo el alojamiento del mismo. En la parte derecha del mismo hay un cuadradito con una ventanilla de plástico que debe estar totalmente liberada. El problema es que ésta a veces se queda medio tapada y el sensor no detecta el cartucho. Levantar ese plástico hacia arriba todo lo que se pueda ( con algo que tenga punta, un boli por ejemplo) y volver a poner todo el alojamiento en su sitio. Suele funcionar a la primera, y si no, apagar y encender de nuevo la impresora.
