I Got an speedlink SL-4451-SBK for ps3 and it wont connect

This works: Turn ps3 on. Plug the controller into the usb cable and into ps3. Then plug the dongle into other usb port. After a short time the dongle will flash quickly (this means it's in pairing mode - when the dongle flashes slowly it's too late). Press the PS/Home button as soon as you see the dongle fast flashing. All the LED's on the controller will begin to flash and after a short time one (or two) will remain solid. Immediately disconnect the charging usb lead from the controller and again the LED's will flash, push the PS/Home button again and after a short time one or two will remain solid. The controller should now be working. If the controller fails to respond repeat this process but make sure that you disconnect the dongle and reinsert (so you can see the fast flashing lights and try again).

Sync a ps3 controller to a diffrent ps3

Using a PS3 controller charge cable (the cable that connects your controller to a USB port on a PS3), connect the PS3 controller to the console you wish to sync it with. With the cable still inserted, press the PS button in the center of the ps3 controller. The lights on the PS3 controller will flash for a moment, and then a controller number will be assigned to the new controller.Your PS3 controller is now synced to the console, and you can unplug the charge cable. Repeat these steps when you want to sync your controller with a different console. If you ever need to reset the Bluetooth connection of a PS3 controller entirely, locate the small pinhole on the back of the controller. By using a paper clip or other thin object to press the button inside this pinhole, you can reset your controller and its Bluetooth connection.

Why is ps3 controler lights are blinking is battery gone or not charge properly thnx to anyone reply plz

I think you need to pair it with the PS3...

How have you tried to pair it?

Usually just plugging in the USB charge cable to controller and PS3 and pressing PS button works. But you may need to press the reset button on the bottom of the controller, then plug in and press PS button.

If i press the ps button on dualshock 3 controller all four lights on it are supposed to flash but it doesn't therefore the ps3 system cannot be turned on using it

Have you charged it? If you have plugged it in and no lights blink you may have a defective controller. If so check with Sony support/

My ps3 comes on and the screen says for me to hook my controller to a usb cord and hit ps button it has never did this before

First of all dont panic!

it happens to everyone, we have 3 playstation 3's in our house.
basically all it has done is either run out of charge.
or has lost sync with your console.
all you need to do is connect it with the supplied cable and press the ps button.
all 4 lights will flash momenterally and it will re-synch or start charging.

My controlers cant conect to my ps3

first try: look on the bottom of your controller towards the top where the usb plugs in and you'll see a little hole.....use a pen or something small and press and hold that little button inside there for like 5-10 seconds....if it don't work...try holding it down longer.
second try: Connect controller to PS3 via USB lead. Turn on the console (all lights flashing) When at the "desk top" Press the PS button once If all's well it should auto assign the the controller and you should only have one light flashing (indicating that its charging)

PS3 Controller wont turn on?

mine sometimes does that, just try pushing and holding it until the options come up on the screen, then turn off controller. Then try turning it back on. If that doesn't work, turn the ps3 off when its done charging, then unplug it while its off. This should work.
