Have rca f36665 have picture but static for sound

Have a great picture but the sound goes out and all you get is static. Tried to clean the inside and that usually works but now it is just static on all channels

It has a short in it.u will need a tv repairman sorry

The cable wire was pulled put of the tv. When I put it back in and turned on the tv, all I get is fuzz. Someone tried to fix it ( i wasnt there) and I dont know if any of the settings on the tv were...

check the cable wire for continuity or replace it

Have you tried unplugging the set for 30 seconds? If it does it in the future again I know a more permanent fix but not specifically right now.

Do picture have little white lines in it? This could be caused by a bad CRT driver transistor. On the small CRT board on back of tube. The red could be shorted
