How to address F14 code? Convection oven does not start.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

F-7 code has been flashing, along with constant beeping. This has happened about 5 times over the past 2 months. Eventually it stops but now we resort to flipping the fuse off to get rid of the noise. ...

Hello Marylou,

The F7 code means the same thing on all domestic (USA) brand ovens. What is means is that a button on the touch pad is shorted (welded together) out. Since you did not include brand or model#
i will give you the following advice, if your touch pad is a seperate part that plugs in clock (also called the oven control,or eoc..electronic oven control) then just the touch pad can be replaced,on certain brands or even some models within a brand the touch pad is integrated into the clock/oven control or eoc in that case the complete touch pad/control asm. is what needs to be replaced

Hope this helps and if it does please give me a 4 thumbs up rating

F1 error code and constant beeping and oven shuts off.

Hi gwhiz03,

If you are having error code F1 with your Jenn-Air double wall oven this is because you have a defective touch pad or clock (ERC). This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

How do a change the element on a candy oven , can't get to the old element

You have to gain access to the element by removing the outer rear panel of oven, if it is built in, then this means removing it from the housing.
Once you have removed the cover, and possibly the top panel, you will see how the element is fitted.
It is a fairly straight forward repair to do.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Hi. This Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be canceled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.
