Ours started doing the same Displaying L on four hob displays. I figured to press the bottom right hob and the minus button at the same time should unlock it.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
You have to gain access to the element by removing the outer rear panel of oven, if it is built in, then this means removing it from the housing.
Once you have removed the cover, and possibly the top panel, you will see how the element is fitted.
It is a fairly straight forward repair to do.

Noisy fan means bushes are worn. cant be repaired. needs replacement. Quote model of oven to spare parts supplier and replace. Make sure power is unplugged and not just switched off before repairs are done.
