Unless you are in a new division, connect to a new water main, there will be cast iron pipe that was cut and joined to the blue PEX Pipe. The answer is the same, contact your water supplier. Put samples in clear glass containers or jars and show them. It is their duty to provide you with clean water.

Daughter while driving temp light came on. However less then 3 days ago had all fluids and oil changed any thoughts?

Hello, if the water in the radiator was quite low, before topping up, there could be an airlock in the system. Does the internal heater blow hot air? If it only blows cold air, even when the control setting is set to hot this indicates either low water level or air lock in the heater matrix or pipe feeds to it. Quite a few models have bleed valves on the pipe runs under the bonnet just before the bulkhead.
Hope this helps you.

The drain hole by the fuel filler cap is blocked, have tried several times to unblock but seems to stop about 1ft down. Is there a junction on the pipe as cannot see due to several things in the way u

May not be a junction, just a bend. The drain hole on my Kawasaki has a pipe that runs from the back of the tank (under the front of the seat) and runs down under the bike to direct everything onto the ground. It could get blocked with road grime so I would check there. Also try blowing up the pipe to see if it is blocked (cover your fuel first so it doesn't go inside the tank). Maybe a two person job??

When should I pipe thread on copper, metal or plastic?

Seems a question with many possible answers.
1) Are you asking if you should thread the pipe?
2) What size pipe?
3) Threads on copper, not normal, not possible in most cases.
4) Thread Plastic? Only if it is Schedule 80 or above.
5) Thread metal. Assuming galvanized or black iron, this would be normal.

I need a lot more detail to intelligently answer the question.

How to get metal heater hose pipe out of water pump without taking water pump off 1995 jeep grand cherokee v8

there is a bracket attached to the pipe just above the water pump bolts (this bolt looks similar to the water pump bolts). there is also a bracket attached to a long, thin bolt just under the valve covers on the drivers side. you'll need a long socket to get to this one. once those two brackets are freed up, you should be able to work the heater hose out of the hole in the water pump. of course, that metal pipe attaches to a rubber hose about halfway back from the water pump to the firewall, so you'll want to undo the hose clamp that holds it in place and slide the metal pipe out of the rubber hose.

i'm not sure what you have in mind, but this should let you accomplish it. note that there is an o-ring that fits on the water pump end of that metal pipe. it's included when you buy the water pump.

have fun and be careful.

Cold water only very slowly trickles into the washer. Hot water works fine. Cold water has very good pressure and volume at all other sources in the house. The cold water hose at back of washer is clean...

there can be 3 reasons for this I will tell u the easiest way to test this first
Problem1)turn the water off at the blue tap fitting that is proberbly under your sink take the blue pipe off at the washer end and place it into the sink turn the blue tap back on if the water comes out quick then the problem is more then likely your cold water solenoid that is either slightly blocked were it fits to the washer,But if it doesnt come out quick then the other 2 problems are as follows.
Problem2)the blue tap that u turn the cold water on to the blue pipe undue the little screw in the middle of the tap and pull the blue fitting off now with a pair of pliers turn the square metal fitting that was under the blue fitting making sure that the end of the pipe is in the sink if it comes out quick then that is the problem the blue tap fitting is rounded off when ot should be square turn the water of and replace the pipe and turn the water back on the cold water should be better now.
Problem3)the blue tap that u turn the cold water pipe of at the copper pipe is blocked or it has a broken shut off valve inside it this will need replacing these are the only problems that it could be let me know if this is any help to u peter
