Hello, I have an old kodak Easyshare c140, it works perfectly fine but it seems like the lens is broken or out of place since on the screen it has a black thing on the side (when you take a pic, it has that thing so the photo is not in full view, but when I zoom it in, the black thingy seems to be gone but its still blurry) and it's blurry as well. are there any ways on how to fix this at home?

a quick and very simple Google search mentions that 32GB will work and class 4 or higher...... but why you'd want to put that much memory (or more) into a battery eater i don't know..... forgive my sarcasm but i was curious of how hard you actually tried looking, and i deduce you didn't try at all!!!
Hello. Change the mode - photos Turn off the flash. If the camera does not eliminate, the problem may be in the mechanism of focus. If the camera is shooting flash off - the flash is faulty.
Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to lens error problems can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some last resort troubleshooting steps that you can try that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try.
Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

The screen on my Kodak C763 is cracked but the camera works fine, if somebody has a broken camera of exactly the same model but the lcd screen is fine then i may buy it off you (and i'll cover your shipping).
the problem seems to be the lens assembly, the electromagnet for the shutter does not work because the tiny film-wires are broken from wear and tear when you are zooming in and out
i corrected the wires myself but i am having trouble assembling back the lens, hope that helps all of you! it's a flaw in their design! (or not! :))
