As Many people asked on this community wall about the Brother hl-2270dw wireless setup, So when i saw that thread i searched about that error on google so i found many solutions but the most convencing was of BrotherPrintersupport247 Team they have provided the complete solution about the Brother hl-2270dw wireless setup. I Hope you will Get rid out of that Error. If you not found this site enough to solve that error you may reply me. so then i will try to do more research on that error and give you the best sollution but till then you can atleast try the solution mentioned above.

The brother HL-2040....is out, no vista drivers at all for that one on Brothers site, only drivers for 95,98,ME,NT and 2000

Good question, I have the same router & Brother HL-2280DW and ran the printer setup CD from Windows XP SP3 via temporary USB connection & it seemed to work. The WAN report on the printer itself says OK, however the computer can't seem to find the printer "No devices could be found on the network." I let setup make changes to Windows Firewall, not sure about Microsoft Security Essentials however. This seems like a nice printer/copier at a nice price but this setup is frustrating! PS If it's a security issue I'd like to say thanks to all the hackers for ruining technology for everyone, your junk is responsible for slowing down & complicating computers & technology in the world. Someone please do everyone a favor & start making antibodies that *kill* viruses & spyware & spam and clean & speed things up for a change! All these villians - Where are the cyber super heroes????
