TV would pop and click about 10-20 times before turning on

I have the same TV and about 2 weeks ago it started to pop and click, now today it just stopped working. I guess it's like all other manufacturers if it lasts more then one year we made a winner....Now our service people can make some money....Well Vizio thanks for Nothing!!!! If you go to the website there is no information on the TV except a user manual, no more information is available, something else that is nice from vizio....

Well I hate to be the person to give you the bad news, Vizio stoped makeing any plasma tv's last year because of so many problems. I had a visio and it took an act of congress to get warrenty work complet. Anyways, back to your problem, There is an obvious problem with the main board, it may not be as bad as you think, some times a capicator will hum or make a whistle sound when they go out, ac IC (intigrated circuit) may have went out also, they sometimes will almost blast apart. I fear that if you want to keep the tv you will need to take it to a service center. If it is out of warrenty I would recommend a shop other than Vizio. There is not much you can do on your own without a diagram of the electronics inside. I hope this helps, Good luck.

TV clicks constantly, as if trying to turn on/off.

Probably a bad main board or T-CON board or both. If you're trying to fix yourself, try disconnecting the cable (LDVS) from the small board (T-CON) at top center of the LCD panel and see if it still cycles. Note, be very careful with that cable, it is very delicate. If it still is cycling off and on, then it is probably the main board. A slight chance it may be the power board also.

'98 Lexus ES300 Won't Start--But Has New Battery!

If your is exhibiting the same signs as a dead battery it really sounds like your alternator is bad. If you are handy, you can remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store like autozone and they will test it for you. This is not a hard job to do, usually 2 electrical connections, 3-5 mounting bolts and you have to pop the belt off. Just reverse it to install a new one. Good luck! - Nick

TV Pops & turns off

There are no tubes; generally the pop happens because of high voltage. It is being shorted out and the pop is either the flyback transformer or the horizontal transistor oscillator. these two are reponsible for creating the high voltage cycle for your television; when either of them or their circuitry is shorted out you hear that "pop" which is the emergency cut off circuitry coming into play to protect the rest of the television.

Delay to see the picture

Your power supply is going south, I have an old sony with the same problem. The voltage level drops and does not have enough 'kick' to start. It will work better when it is warm. The module will need to be replaced.
