We got a Myrica PQ42-1 that takes the fuse in our
I have the same problem. Returned the TV for warranty repair and got it back still with the same problem. "Change your fuses to 16A slow" was the message from FSC service shop. (16A=3500Watts!)
I have mounted a 10A fuse directly 'between the TV and the 230V outlet so the (house) fuse does not drop.
Now my ******* TV went all black, probably the backlight.
Myrica p42-PH sound but no picture
Hi,
There could be few problem.Normally the parts for this unit is a kit Y-SUSTAIN BOARD and Z-SUSTAIN BOARD, this is what most manufacturers would want you to do, purchase them. But go to insert and go through all the voltage checks to find the bad part. It could be a faulty inverter. The inverter is the high voltage board that provides variable power to the backlight lamp. This is the most common. When inverter is faulty you can get no picture, or a very dim picture that can only be seen by pointing a torch light with a 45 degree angle on the LCD surface from very near distance. The inverter must be tested by reading voltages with a multimeter.
This is almost certain a hardware failure. You should know how to read schematics, know how to use multimeter and soldering iron. You need to have electronics repair experience and should be able to keep all precautions. If you wanted to repair, revert and i would be able to tell you few pointers that would help you.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

If you only have half of a picture, usually top or bottom, then there is a problem with the upper or lower scan buffers. What is the make and model number and is it split top to bottom?
Hello.
I have a Fujitsu Siemens
Sounds like to me you either have a video processing problem or you have a powersupply issue. The only way to tell is to open set up and check the powersupply voltages and then go from there.
Let me know if you are willing to open that baby up and then we can check for correct power supply
voltages... Talk to you later. HDTV GURU JAY
How to remove child lock from BELTEK TV?
general steps:
Get the TV remote control and push the "Menu" button and select "Options".
Select "Child Lock" from the "Options" list. On some televisions, the "Child Lock" is named "V-chip".
Choose the "Remove Child Lock" selection. Highlight this and then hit the "Enter" button.
Enter the four-digit code that you used when you activated the child lock feature. If you cannot remember it, your only option to deactivate the child lock is to reset the TV. The instructions for resetting a TV is written on the user's manual of the TV.
Exit the TV menu once you have entered the four-digit code. To do this, press the "Exit" or "Menu" button on the TV's remote control.
If you don't have a remote, you might try leaving the TV unplugged overnight. Some TVs will 'forget' their settings if left without power for a long period. You could also potentially buy a cheaper universal remote, and use that to turn off the child lock.
