Most projectors use a menu-driven system...enter the menu, look for the lamp reset menu--DON'T RESET THE LAMP! Usually the filter reset option is with or near the lamp reset option. And, most probably, you'll have to use the remote to access the menu options.Hope this helps. Btw, have you cleaned the filter recently?? I clean mine once a week! Projectors generate LOTS of heat...Any extra heat ages the internal components prematurely causing lamps to fail, LCD panels to break down, and circuit boards to display incorrect images. ---Rick

You need to reset the filter timer. Press the "options" button, then "3" for filter timer, then "start". The filter timer should now be reset and you shouldn't see it say clean filter anymore. Hope this helps.
Procedure for resetting filter time.
Pressing the RESET button for about 3 seconds displays the FILTER TIME
menu.
Select the RESET using button to reset the timer. :
RESET <- CANCEL
Selecting the RESET resets the count of the lamp timer to 0.
memo Perform this function only when you have cleaned or replaced the air
filter. The filter timer counts the used time of the air filter after cleaning or
replacement, to display the messages about the air filter. Incorrect performing
causes incorrect operation of the messages.

The red indicator light usually comes on when something needs attention. Most often it has to do with the lamp timer or the filter timer. The projector keeps track of how long it's been since you've changed the bulb or cleaned the filter(s). You can reset these timers in the menu. Be sure to clean the filter before you reset the timer. :)
The reset function is in the options menu. Once you scroll through the menu locate the filter timer, forward to the timer locate reset, you then need to hold down the reset button on the bottom RH of the remote control.
try holding the filter button in for three seconds, if that doesn't reset the timer try the filter button and the temp. up button at the same time for three seconds.
Menu, options, filter time. When the filter time is displayed, press the reset button for at least 3 seconds. The reset menu will appear and you can select RESET.
