I need to reset the date and year

Hello,

I had exact same problem with RTH7500. Did not set the date properly at the beginning and than realized that there is no menu option to change the date after it is saved once (???!). I was very confused for few hours and wandering - trying to find changing option on thermostat menu; than I was looking online what can be done... I could not find solution...

Than I took out both AA batteries, open the thermostat (be very careful while doing this - you don't want to break plastic peaces that hold the thing together) and took out the button battery thinking that this will reset the thermostat... but it did not.

I repeated the same thing, but this time, while the button battery was out, I put two AA batteries back and this reset the thermostat... the old - blinking date appeared and I was very happy to see this on thermostat screen! This time I set the time properly and it works fine.

:)

Hope this will be helpful if you did not solve the issue yet... if you did, someone else might find this solution useful.

How do I lock keys on TB7220U? The previous

Access the ISU (installer setup) menu by pressing the system key from the main screen then press and hold the two keys on either side of the center for approximately five seconds. Hit next until you find 0670 and then change the value to 4. http://www.forwardthinking.honeywell.com/related_links/thermostats/commercial_pro/install/62_0221.pdf On a side note, this information was insanely hard to find.

Honeywell UtilityPRO thermostat backlight won't go off

After posting that I was having the same problem, I found a solution.
I used these instructions http://www.hydro-temp.com/help/drawings/honeywell%2069-1894ES.pdf and followed the Installer Setup on pages 6 through 10. Basically you just need to enter the setup mode following the instructions, scroll to setting# 280 and change the setting from "1" to "0" then the backlight will turn off after 8 seconds. Don't change any other settings if you don't know what you are doing.

I have a programable honeywell

If you want clean air without changing the temperature and without using as much power as on the A/C setting then put it on "Circulation" which just means you'll just filter dust etc out of the air. If you want to change the room temperature put it on Auto at your desired temp this will filter the air longer as it's running more but it will use more power than Circulation there's only a better setting if you tell me your exact requirement eg do you want to cool the room or just clean the air, or clean the air saving power??? otherwise if you don't care about the power cost then the "On" setting is the best as it filters non-stop and cools the air non-stop. Cheers

I just bought a honeywell RTH2510/RTH2410. It

Your system has 2 stages of heat. Therefore you should have a 2 stage tstat. The 2510 is 1heat/1cool, put your w2 wire in with your w1 wire, you will be fine. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_092728000e6acb79

Honeywell zoning system

No. If it's power open and power close you need 3 wires at both locations. If it has a spring you could get away with 2 wires. Depending on how hard it would be to run a new wire you do have the option of changing the damper. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_092728000e6acb79

Gas heater short cycles

At your indoor unit, look at 1 of the front panels and see if there is a clear, plastic view port. Look through it and try to see a red flashing led. Count the flashes and look at the factory data on the front of the unit. That should give us a trouble code and lead us in the right direction. Also make sure air filters are clean.
