Hitachi CP-S210 Multimedia Projector Questions & Answers
How do I change a bulb in a Hitachi CP-S210
There will be a panel that holds the lamp module in, usually on the base of the unit. Once removed the lamp is usually held in with two screws mounted on the body of the lam. Once replaced, ensure the lamp is correctly fitted and the panel then switch on and reset the lamp life in the settings menu.
Good luck, hope I was of help to you
I have a Hitachi CP
Hi rickcar54200,
The issue that you currently have on your projector is leaning toward a DMD board on the light engine that is not working properly. This means hardware failure. The only way to fix this is to replace the DMD board. Have an authorized service center do the repair, or at least give an estimate. It might be cheaper to get a new unit.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.
Lamp and temperature light are lit but projector
Yes!
The temperature lamp means it is overheating which will finish up cooking the LCD units, (blue first) and the lamp light is on as the lamp is about to expire.
Clean the air inlet filters and replace the lamp.
How do I reset the filter timer on the hitachi cp
The reset function is in the options menu. Once you scroll through the menu locate the filter timer, forward to the timer locate reset, you then need to hold down the reset button on the bottom RH of the remote control.
Projector works fine, but does not show video
Hey. Sounds like you are using some kind of dual-view or extended desktop via the computer for video. This may sometimes be a problem. If you can see the desktop but no video using the projector it is not a projector problem. It is probably your grapic card och software problem.
Try different setups in the graphic cards settings, like the projector as primary monitor etc. That usually solves the problem.

Hitachi cp-x430?
My projector is not Hitachi but I had a similar problem. My manual suggested checking under "signal" to make sure that "auto" was "on". The thing is, there were two places where "signal" came up on the menu. I had to go under "set-up" to "signal" and then I was able to correct it by setting "auto" to "on". I hope this helps.
Hitachi projector cp - s210
hi there,
I have just done the exact same thing today. Press menu button on projector. Scroll (navigate) to the mirror option. This give you the options to mirror image left to right or up and down.
This should fix any of your problems.
Cheers
Luke

My projector is not a Hitachi but I think the menus are similar. You might try finding "signal" under "setup" in your menu and check to see if it is on or off. You want it "on". I hope this helps.
