I download my music, extract the .rar files then take the new folder that has the.mp3s and ... Is there anything i can do to convert the songs to play with the MP3 player? .... On the back of the the mp3 player is a reset switch.
Hold that down about 15 seconds.
If that does not work go to the RCA website.
Download the latest firmware.
Plug mp3 player into pc.
Install the new firmware.
Keep it plug to computer for about 1 hour to charge the battery alittle.

yesterday the player worked fine, today it wont play and it wont turn off, its about one year old

what happens when you USB connect to your PC? Might help to reset it, if its a software glitch.
