Brand new GPX mp3 player will not pair or show up on usb drive
Instruct the computer to search for it. The computer should automatically find it and load drivers, but it should show in Windows Explorer as a volume in the left pane. Where are you looking?
It will only pair with a computer if the computer has Bluetooth and most don't. Pair with a smartphone.
How do I transfer my music to my device?
This device is capable of playing MP3 and WMA (4ithout DRM) files. To load files requires a computer with a USB connection and the minimum requirements of Windows XP .
- Connect the player to the USB cable provided in packaging, and then connect the other end to your computers USB port.
- Once connection has been made between the device and your computer, a "GPX" drive will appear in the computer directory.
- Double click on the GPX drive
- Drag and drop your MP3 files and folders into the Music or playlist folder

Downloading Music
If you are downloading music with digital rights management (which sounds like what you are doing), you'll have to go through Windows Media Player (version 10 or better) to "synch" your music. Once Media Player recognizes your GPX, you'll drag the items you want copied over to the GPX and download them that way.

MP3 player plays 10 seconds
Your MP3 Player is in the Intro Play Mode. This is just a preview mode where it'll play the beginning of a song. If you hit the menu button (but don't hold it) while the song is playing, it should bring up the music submenu. From there, go to Play Mode and select any mode except Intro. Generally though, you'll want it on Repeat All or something of the like. Random is also good if you can't figure out what to listen to.
Hope this helped :)
Every time i try to
Many online music stores employ DRM to restrict usage of music purchased and downloaded online. The best way to overcome this is to download DRM- free tracks. Some online music stores such as amazon, eMusic and Beatport give you DRM free tracks. Try getting your music from them. Or else you can rip the Cds to get the tracks.
hope this solves your problem.

Gpx s7050 cd open/close button not working. is there a fix?
Sometimes there's a small pinhole in the face of the door panel. If so, straighten a paper clip and press straight into the hole. That will press lever that pushes the slide outward. If no pinhole, try a case knife (table knife). Shove between the door panel and the casing, and try to pry it panel outward.
Once, not too long ago a friend lost a CD. They were sure they put it into the player on the laptop. When removing the CD player, I found the CD laying atop the player casing, so either they shoved it in the crease between the player and the laptop casing, or it popped up as they were closing the door ind it was shoved int hat crease.
Good luck.

Syncing with Windows Media Player
Place the music files that you want to transfer into the My Music folder of your computer - Windows will re-read them, and then you can synchronize to your device. Also, make sure the hold/lock switch is not engaged on the mp3 player - it probably isn't, but just check.

Videos....plezzz help me!!!
I had the same problem, I transfered files already in AVI format and the player did not recognize them. I used the sofware that came with the player (AVI Converter, I think) to convert my videos to AVI and I selected that the program copy them directly to player ( the player has to be connected to your computer while converting the files, obviously) instead of doing it manually. At least that worked for me. Another option is to convert the videos to flash format (.flv). I don't know why the player reads those kind of files (as per the manual and GPX web page it's supposed to read AVI only) but it works. Hope this helps.
