Nokia 1606 its just a white screen when i turn the phone on. i can still make calls and receive calls i just cant see anything on the screen

this is the problem usually caused by viruswhich happens when you are receiving files from p.c or untrusted mobiles...... and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest nokia care,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed....

mcdevito75 here, I just imitated sleeping on a cell phne and found mine will turn off, try turning your cell phone off, (red button) and then turn it back on. If this doesn"t help call your cell phone carrier for their advise.

I can hear my phone switch on however the screen does not start up correctly, only a white screen.

your screen must be damaged.......take your phone to the nearest nokia service center and change ur screen......thank u

Try to turn it off, remove the battery and sim card. then after a minute or 2 reinsert simcard and battery. If same thing happens, call your manufacturer or service provider to check warranty status of your phone... for replacement

my cell phone did the same thing, there is no solution-most likly caused by humitity, just send it in for a new cell phone.

formating your phone may fix the problem

Here’s how to hard reset or format your Nokia N70 mobile phone:
1) Switch off your phone
2) Press and hold these 3 keys together:
-green dial key
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key (Ugh, I wish I had three hands…!!)
3) Power on the phone
Warning: Do not release the keys until you see a formatting screen and even after the phone has started. Wait until the initial sound starts to play and the hand animation is displayed.

Your phone display is failed so you need to go to your nearest service center change the display spare regding this problam you can recive the calls and talk to your out going calls but you cant see the display call number
