Hi I have the Nokia 6600 slid. I cant get into my menu, i cant answer calls, i cant get into names, i cant get into a tex mesg. The only keys that works is the end key the one with the phone symbol on it,and the key pad. My phone has never had anything like that happen befor. Help :) Amber

Take menu in your phone Messaging--> options--> settings--> text message--> Msg center in use--> Please tick the sim message center preffered connection - set it as gsm or cdma - as per your network opeartor. The try agin sending messages :D

Three Finger Reset for Nokia 6600 Phone ;

1. Switch off your Nokia 6600 phone.

2. Hold down the following three keys ; Green (call answer button), * Key, and Number 3 key.

3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.

4. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.

first is your phone batery charged?
second if the batery is charged and you cant see anything try to dial a friend number that is with you, if the call is giong is meaning your phone is ok and you should replace your screen phone.

You can reformat your unit.. just follow this instructions. just off the fone then, press together the key no. 3 Astiris and phone in.. press in sustained position then turn on the power switch then you can see your fone is starting to refurmat...

Hello there. Install PC Suite on your pc. Backup your contacts, sms etc.. from your pc. Be sure that you kept everything that you will need. When you are done switch off your phone. Then press and hold with the following order "3" "*" "answer button" "power on button" When you do this your phone will enter into a secret procedure which will format your phone memory and not the MMC. Your 6600 will be like a brand new and your MMC will keep it's data. If you wish to have an undo option make first a backup using Pc Suite. I hope this will helps you. Best regards.
