This answer will probably be too late for you but maybe helpful to others. I had the same issue with my TOMY 71028 and was able to resolve it with a little bit of experimentation.
The connection Information between both devices is lost. You can reestablish this connection by starting both units in a special mode that is not described in the manual.
Press the power and the light button at the same time. The hand unit will start and scan for a base station. You can see the power and the light button blinking alternately.
Start the baseunit the same way.
Now they will try to reconnect and reestablish the pairing information.
The flashing red light is designed to notify you in the event that
a problem has been discovered by flashing the light on the base unit.
Before resetting the unit. First, check the blanket/mattress
pad for visual damage.
If no visual damage is found, unplug the system from wall outlet.
Check that the base unit is well connected to the module. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. Set the base unit to "On." If the system still does not operate after two or three times trying to reset, disconnect the power cord and get it checked out by a specialist!
You out door unit is not receiving power adequately. Most of these kind of issues are power related. Eg fluctuations, power unit strength, stabiliser problem or could be an issue with the supply from your mains.
Tries the unit unplug, replug it back like about an hour. The unit should be resetting itself. Now the green power light should be stable again now vcr should be work again, still blinking green power light mean the unit have power circuitries issues, not worth trying to fixed the unit.Because VCR devices are pretty cheap these day,can buy a new one like $40 bucks.
This is a power problem from the unit. The unit receives power into it but does not supply the power sufficiently enough to get the unit to function well. This is why the blue light flashes when the initial burst of power is sent into the unit but due to lack of follow up power the unit fails to remain on. Best get an expert to identify if the power supply distributor in the unit is bad or the ic which is responsible for the distribution is the cause. Hope this solution has been helpful?
Looks like your power supply's failed. The green light on the back of your power supply is just a neon light that just confirms that the power lead is OK, it does not relate to the status of the power supply! Try powering it up with another power supply, or replacing the power supply.
three red lights (no error message) - two reasons for the red lights: hardware failure or power supply unit failure.
when the three red lights is showing check the light on the power supply unit. if the light is green you console is experiencing a hardware failure. you need to send the console to MS service center or if you have no MS support in your country look for someone who knows how to repair the console or go to xbox-scene.com and look for information on how to repair the console yourself.
if the light is orange, red or no light at all, there might be a problem with the power supply unit. disconnect and reconnect the power cables from the 360 and reconnect them again. if there is an inter-cooler connected at the back of the console, remove the inter-cooler and turn on the console without the inter-cooler. try also a different wall socket and if the light on the power supply is still orange, red, or no light when you turn on the console you need to replace the power supply unit.
