I had some trouble with my ds, and so i killed the battery. you have to stop charging it and leave it on with full sound to down the battery faster. keep doing this untill when you turn it on it shuts off by it's self imediately. leave it alone for a week or so and then check and see if you can turn it back on. if it won't even light up for a moment when you hit power you've done it right.

WARNING: this will erase all saved data for all games on the ds.

you can now plug it into the wall and let it charge for at least 5mins. keep it pulgged in and turn it on. it should show the settings menu for birthday, time, etc. just like when you first took it out of the box.

this will reset the ds to factory settings, and should alow you to change the time.

NOTE: only do this if the time is REALLY bothering you.

Problem with the Nintendo DS Lite I was playing pokemon soul silver and accidentally shut of the DS before saving the game. Help! Is there anyway to get the game back?

No. There is not, the DS has no built in recovery. Unless it had an autosave feature and saved itself sometime between the last time you saved and when you turned it off you will just have to start from your last save. Sorry.

We have a nintendo ds. We have an r4 card which works perfectly. All other games have been working for the last month but for some reason no other games will load. It comes up nintendo ds and then the...

There are two things this could be. Either the R4 is broken or some file on the SD card is corrupted. I would try Re-formating the Micro SD card first. Make sure to back up all of your game save first though. I hope I helped.

Ds lite is reading system date error

Known problem with the NDS Cards but here is a temporary fix:Take out the NDS cards and start up DS without them
  • Tap the symbol in the middle of the screen at the bottom that looks like a DS.
  • Tap the blue box with a calender and clock in.
  • Change the date a month or two back.
  • Restart DS with NDS cards in.
Even though this is temporary the people at NDS are working for a solution. But until then you might just have to keep putting the date back.

Nintendo DS Lite

I'm not to familiar with the DS's but i beleive that is how they are supposed to boot if a cartridge is already in the unit. If not then there may be an option when booting without a cartridge where you can change the settings so that it will boot to the main DS screen before booting the game. I would check this first then seek further help from a more adequate expert on here.
