Which type of content do you intend to play? Is it a VCD or audio CD? Also do you have Vista 64 bit or 32 bit?

Hey same problem here, mine is also not enabled the volumen controls on control panel or sound controls for windows xp sp2
have you find the solution for this, i contacted to samson, but they didnt send me any solution (just to send it for repair)
