Your computer is downloading to temporary file storage. It is transferred from there. That takes a lot of ram. You can speed the process by adding ram.

You might also go to your device manager. Find your network card there. Go to that manufacturer's site and look for the latest driver for your network card. Update it. Alternatively, possibly, Driver Booster or Driver Talent would find such a driver for you, although you might have to manually install it.

SOURCE: My computer is becoming really hot and noisy.

Sounds like the fan is wearing out, as it heats up the fan needs to spin faster and if the bearings are wearing out it will start getting louder and it will also get hotter because the fan cannot keep up the heat being produced. You can replace the fan, most computer shops will carry replacements, also get a can of compressed air and give the inside of the computer a good cleaning. This will help keep things cooler as well. Also make sure that the air vents on the outside of the case are clear as well.

Double tap the screen with 3 fingers and it will unzoom. Then to switch the feature off,
go to settings, accessability and turn off zoom feature.

How to clean up start up processes

Questions about optimize start up:
How to remove program from start up?
My computer boots very slow? How do I clean up start up processes?
Windows startup very slow, how to fix it?

Why clean up start up processes?
Windows Startup program will load the default programs or processes you add to your computer. The test result shows a new system only boot within 30 seconds. As you install antivirus program or other applications, it becomes very slow. Sometimes, the startup gets bloated not due to your computer behaviors. Malicious software is prone to add useless processes on startup without your known. You are not aware that your computer becomes more and more slow until serious computer problem occurs. Don’t ignore a slow start up, it is the root of Blue Screen and computer freezing.

How to clean up start up processes?
The first thing you should do is to remove spyware or adware from your computer. I prefer to AVG, it is a free anti-virus program. If you want to clean virus completely, you need boot in safe mode and disconnect your Internet.

Hok is a professor with over ten year’s computer experience. He suggest us use ErrorFix. This is a pc optimize tool which can clean up system registry entries, useless program, start up processes and junk files. With this program, your computer will be obviously improved. Just a few clicks, you can remove processes that slow your computer.

What’s more to speed up your computer?
Do not download Peer-to-Peer Download Software! Maybe you are using some software such like YouTube Downloader. These are probably some of the least likely contenders for system-slowdown but they are popular on the internet. Those kinds of program can take up memory space and damage your computer. Also they can automatically add itself as your start up.

Any download starts fine (and fast) but become VERY slow near the end. (about 70% complete). Sometimes pausing and resuming helps to speed up for a while, but this is not possible with game patchs. Wh

sometimes your connection gets interrupted and really we all just have to deal with it I go through the same thing all the time so I know where you are coming from

My computer is getting really slow now. what can i do?

Actually sir there are a lot of reason why a computer becomes slow..First because of viruses, secondly your computer is very populated with files and applications and your hardware devices cannot accommodate it. But since you're connecting to the internet i know you have a good antivirus..perhaps i recommend you to try this 1. examine your files and application and choose the files you frequently used and not frequently used. 2. delete unwanted files and applications that you already didn't use so that it will free hard disk space and virtual memory of your computer. 3 go to recycle bin and empty it. freeing hard disk space and virtual memory can help your computer perform much faster...Reply to this post if your problem are not solved..Tnx for using fixya..

Sorry to say, but it sounds like your router is toast. Not really a big deal. Get a new one. The 624 wasnt a fantastic router to begin with. A new router will far exceed the capabilities of this router anyway. Hope this helps : )

How to increase size of pst file in MS outlook to be more than GB

The size will automatically increase. But actually you don't want it to be too big as it can slow things down and also increase the risks of corruption and problems.
Better to split the PST file if it becomes too big.

Map Install

The “download” and the “indexing” of the maps are really 2 separate procedures. Yes, the indexing can take quite a while; you might as well have something else to do after you hit OK. Some members save certain maps files, already indexed to substitute as needed. Then the only speed concern is in the copying of the file to the SD card using a card reader. Some cards such as the Toshiba are fast to read but slow to write so this becomes a factor at this point. Edit: I’m assuming you meant 256MB not 256K. Also when you add just a little to your existing map file, it will cause the entire map to be recreated, so it’s not how much you currently add as how big the entire resultant map is that determines the time needed.
